In a country where people can’t wear U.S. flag pins or hang flags in certain places, where students have to fight to say the Pledge of Allegiance in schools, where prayer isn’t allowed in schools, where Christians are routinely targeted for expressing their beliefs, we have a president who is not rallying for their rights, and who, himself, didn’t want to wear a U.S. Flag pin while campaigning for the presidency.  Instead, he rallied pretty quickly for a Muslim mosque to be built near Ground Zero.  If I didn’t know any better, I’d swear he was a closet radical Islamist sympathizer.  Why are rights only for Muslims and illegal immigrants, but not for American citizens, especially where this country was founded on Judeo-Christian principles?  Even Glenn Beck is experiencing problems when it comes to…dare I say it…prayer
Why is prayer such a dirty word today?  Why is God and God’s word so threatening in today’s world?  Probably because those who oppose Him know He’s a force to be reckoned with.  While some people believe and pray that Obama will save this country, my prayers are directed to God.  The way I see it, Obama is destroying us, and God is the only One who can save us…

FOX News and radio talk show host Glenn Beck has rented the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. for a August 27th performance of his America’s Divine Destiny. When Kennedy Center officials found out that Glenn would be offering a prayer as part of the program, they initially responded contract or not, a prayer would not be allowed at the federally funded venue.

Glenn held a meeting with his attorneys who asked him if he would consider a compromise. He responded to his attorneys to tell the Kennedy Center not only would he offer a opening prayer, he would also offer a closing prayer. Glenn went further on to say he might offer the entire program as a prayer.

Watch the following video of Glenn’s outstanding response to the situation and how the Kennedy Center officials finally came to their senses.
