Christmas is my favorite holiday because it’s a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the true meaning of Christmas which is somehow lost in the commercialism of Christmas.  It’s also a time to surround yourself with the people you love, a time for reflecting on what matters most in your life—putting things in proper perspective.  It’s a joyous time and I embrace it right through Little Christmas (January 6th).  We leave our Christmas lights on day and night Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Little Christmas in honor of our Savior’s birth.
I wanted to share a good documentary I caught on The History Channel, and is available on YouTube.  It’s chock full of interesting and little known facts about Christmas.  I’m posting it here as my Christmas present to all of you.  Enjoy, and…
Merry Christmas!
