OBAMA ADMINISTRATION MARCH APPROVAL RATINGS…

Posted on March 24, 2009. Filed under: News And Politics... |

Obama’s numbers continue to dip.  I posted last month’s RealClear Politics polls in a previous post:

OBAMA APPROVAL RATING AFTER ONE MONTH IN OFFICE…, but couldn’t add it to this post due to size limitations on this feed so I’ll sum it up here…

In his first week in office, Obama’s approval rating fell from a high of 83% down to 68%.  Although that’s still impressive, a 15% decrease in approval is a big drop in only one week.  Two weeks after that, it fell an additional 3%.  The numbers speak for themselves.  People like the charisma of Obama, but not his cabinet choices or the direction he’s leading the country in.  In one month, his average approval rating went from 65.4% down to 61.2%.  I trust Rasmussen’s numbers out of all those shown below which reveal that Obama’s approval rating dipped from a 61% approval rating in February down to 56% in March since he’s been in office.  Not even Bush saw these dips this early in his administration, but then again, Bush didn’t appoint “dips” in his administration like Obama did.

Granted, Obama is only human and we all make mistakes.  My only argument is that he is always portrayed as some kind of superpower who can change the world with a wave of his hand, which he cannot do.  Yes, he has admitted making mistakes, which, for the record, are numerous and consequential, considering he’s only been in office for two months.  He’s been on an apology tour since he’s been in office.  People are actually dismissing his gaffes as him being "honest".  Hmmm…Don’t go singing his praises yet.  His approval rating will continue to fall as the voters see that it is "politics as usual".  His colorful rhetoric won’t save him when crises start to surface.  How he handles himself during catastrophes will be his true measure.  We shall see…

I just watched Obama\’s press conference and I see he is still picking and choosing who he wants to talk with. The reason he is going on his ever growing entertainment tour is because he\’s on a much safer playing field. Big surprise that he only accepted questions from CNN, Ebony and BET reporters, but ignored the New York Times and Wall Street reporters. When asked questions, he danced around them by going into his long drawn-out responses. He had this faux stern demeanor throughout the conference, but I feel it was in direct response to his laughing gaffe on 60 Minutes where he was asked if he was "punch drunk". He is nothing more than a Democratic puppet, a clown, a joker, and nothing he does or says has impressed me to think otherwise. He and his posse are directly responsible for the AIG mess which is taking a lot of time and enegy on their parts to clean up. Meanwhile, we\’re still in an economic crisis, and his answer to this problem is "talking to the American people through guest appearances on different shows". My advise to him would be for him to do the job most of America voted for him to do and not make a mockery of the presidency. This is not a personality contest, and it\’s fast becoming a 3-ring circus.

Talking about card decks just how many \’jokers\’ does he have up his sleeve instead of \’aces\’ :p

The whole Obama administration is seriously flawed, and I\’m sure more stories will surface to back up my statement. He campaigned saying "change" was more important than whether or not he had any executive experience. Now we\’re seeing that his lack of executive experience is contributing to our economic troubles. What infuriates me about Obama is that this "new kid on the block" has been on an entertainment/campaign tour since his election. Hey, he\’s got to get his approval numbers up. If he wanted 24/7 face time, he should have become an actor since he\’s quite adept at reading other people\’s words. During his campaign, he used the race card, now he\’s conveniently using the Bush card. It\’s time for him to "change" the deck!

The expectation game could have something to to with this. Expectations were high and a lot of high level nominees were seriously flawed. It is kind of tough listening to moralizing from a bunch of folks that didn\’t pay their taxes.

More I think on this I feel Obama was a "recession ~ we need a fresh, unique approach" quick fix. This state of affairs needs a heck of big changes but if u have \’new kid on block\’ the demand 4 change drops as Obamas lack of experience can be used as a \’time killer\’. Say hello to the fantasy solution – the knight in shining armour that can be excused due to his 1st time status. Great ploy by \’puppet masters\’!
