PETA wanted to have this provocative commercial air during the Super Bowl, but it’s been banned, unless they can clean it up a bit.  The Video looks like the trailer for a new porn movie entitled, "My Secret Garden".  I’m all for free speech and expression, but is this really appropriate for kids’ viewing?

Too hot for TV: The Superbowl advert pulled for showing models taking too much pleasure from their veggies

A provocative advert featuring sexy models rubbing various vegetables across their bodies has been banned for being too raunchy for TV.

American network NBC was planning to show the advert, put together by animal charity PETA, during this Sunday’s Superbowl extravaganza – an event watched by more than 70million Americans.

But it has refused to air the ‘Studies Show Vegetarians Have Better Sex’ advert unless certain shots – including a model licking a pumpkin and a model rubbing asparagus over her lap – are removed.

NBC objected to PETA’s advert, which included such moments as a model rubbing broccoli all over her body

The advert shows various models – all in underwear – playing with a variety of vegetables including aparagus, broccoli and aubergines.

They are filmed in a series of provocative poses, with one lying on a couch while running vegetables up and down her body and another crawling on all four towards a pumpkin before licking it.

Another model even blindfolds herself before running a bunch of asparagus across her breasts and abdomen.

‘Too hot for TV’: A model helps PETA sell the delights of asparagus

PETA said: ‘PETA’s ad – which features a bevy of beauties who are powerless to resist the temptation of veggie love – was deemed too hot for the Super Bowl.

‘NBC rejected the video because of concerns over "rubbing pelvic region with pumpkin," and a woman "screwing herself with broccoli".

‘Apparently, NBC has something against girls who love their veggies.’

NBC has so far made no official statement over the advert.
